In honor of the day, President's Day, I thought I would do my part and try my hand at carving one of our better known presidents.

Jacque-Trapper/Fur Trader

After the big snow fall we had in our area last week, Jacque showed up the ply his trade and pick up a few coins. Unfortunately, all he was able to trap was a couple of beaver and a bobcat, not a very profitable trip. Anyway, good friendship and great stories. Thanks for looking.

Just a Few Mini's

I had some small pieces of basswood left over from another carving, so I decide I would start on my Santa's and Elves for next Christmas. These still need to go to the paint shop. I'll post them later. As you can tell, they range in size from 4" to 6".

I just got Inspried

After watching TV all day long yesterday with the same happenings over and over again, I got inspired to contribute my little bit so I carved this. If you stand back a few feet and squint, you may be able to tell who it resembles.
